On Sunday 21th of October we were in Val Scinauz canyon. In summer this year some Austrian guys explored the canyon. It is under famous mountain Monte Scinauz with military buildings on the top.
The starting point is San Leopoldo(few km from Pontebba towards Tarvisio). Park the car under the highway bridge. For approach use the unmarked path which starts on the right band of the canyon (on the left band starts path 523 to the Monte Cit). When the path crosses the canyon start the descent.
For approach you spend 1h15min, for the descent 1h (about 8 rappels and the highest is 40m high). You finish the canyon near the car.

| We did Scinauz on the 1th of April 2023. All rappels are well equiped. In Spring it is a nice canyon, south sided. 8 rappels, longest is the first one with approx 35m. |
