We did this long canyon near Bohinj.
Unfortunatly it isn't a worthwhile trip anymore because long parts of the route are either dry or completely jammed with logs (sometimes you have to climb over slippery logs 10 or more meters above the canyonfloor). Which is a shame because the actual canyon is narrow, deep and at parts pretty impressive.
About 20 drops up to 28m, 6km and 580 heightmeters from the only bridge to the exit in Srdenja vas v Bohinju. Protection: spits, 8mm bolts and natural anchors.

Caution!!!
We were on 5th of May in Ribnica.
In the canyon is somewhere up to 8 meters of snow.In the main part is a huge landslide, buried the gorge and Ribnica is probably not more transient.
