On Thursday on 26th September we explored Rio della Forchia in Val Dogna. The canyon is located about few 100 meters before village Pleziche. The start is from the bridge over the creek and ends with confluence with Torrente Dogna. It's a very short trip, the canyon is approximately 200 m high.
Short description:
Start on the left side of the bridge. Then follow some jumps (3-4 meters)in shallow pools and some down climbing. The first waterfall is 20m high (1 spit on let), the second waterfall is possible to jump (7m) or rappel (1 spit on right 10 meters) and the third waterfall is 18 meters high (1 spit on right, 2 cascades).
After confluence with Torrente Dogna walk down near the riverbed to the path CAI 640 or find another way (path) on the right, back to the car.
Duration: 1hour
Need: 1x40 meters of rope

It is not recommended except as possible access to the Rio Sfonderat.
